Frequently Asked.
Can you fabricate from my original design or artist sketch?
Yes -- this is one of our core strengths. We work from concept sketches, maquettes, 3D files, or reference photos. Our engineers will translate your design into structural steel, optimize for fabrication, and produce detailed 3D renderings for your approval before production begins. All design files are handled under strict NDA.
What's included in your pricing?
Our standard quotation includes:
- 3D design, structural drawings, and rendered visuals
- All materials (steel, welding consumables, surface finish)
- Complete fabrication and finishing
- Quality inspection and approval documentation
- Export crating and packaging
Shipping cost quoted separately based on your delivery address and preferred Incoterms (EXW / FOB / CIF / DDP).
Do you handle international shipping and customs clearance?
Yes. We coordinate sea freight worldwide and provide full export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin). For DDP terms, we can arrange door-to-door delivery including import customs clearance in select countries (USA, UK, EU, Australia). Our freight partners have extensive experience with oversized art cargo.
What's the difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel?
304 stainless steel is the standard choice for most outdoor sculptures -- excellent corrosion resistance in typical climates, weldable, polishable, and cost-effective.
316 stainless steel contains molybdenum for superior resistance to saltwater, chlorine, and coastal environments. Recommended for seaside installations, pools, or highly corrosive industrial zones. Slightly higher cost but maximum durability.
How long does Corten steel take to develop its rust patina?
Natural weathering Corten develops its protective rust layer over 6-12 months of outdoor exposure (wet/dry cycles accelerate the process). The patina starts orange-brown and matures to a deep terracotta or chocolate tone. We can also pre-rust the sculpture in our workshop using chemical acceleration -- it will arrive with a stable, developed patina ready for immediate display.
Can you install the sculpture on-site?
Yes -- we offer professional on-site installation services in select regions (USA, Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia). Our installation team can handle foundation work, crane lifting, modular assembly, and final positioning. For other locations, we provide detailed installation drawings, anchor specifications, and remote guidance for your local contractor. All large-scale works include pre-drilled mounting points and clear assembly instructions.
What payment terms do you accept?
Standard terms: 50% deposit to begin production, 50% balance before shipment (upon final inspection approval). Payment by wire transfer (T/T) or PayPal (small orders). Letter of Credit (L/C) accepted for large institutional projects. Flexible milestone payment schedules available for landmark commissions.
Do metal sculptures require maintenance?
Stainless steel: Minimal maintenance. Occasional wash with water and mild detergent to remove dust or pollution residue. Mirror finishes may require periodic buffing in high-traffic areas.
Corten steel: Maintenance-free once patina stabilizes. The rust layer is self-protecting. No painting or sealing required unless you want to halt oxidation for aesthetic reasons.
We provide detailed care instructions with every sculpture delivery.
