A Double D Form With Real Movement
This metal fountain sculpture takes two D shapes and locks them together at an angle, so it looks different from every side. The mirror polished surface picks up the sky, nearby buildings, and moving water, and the reflection changes throughout the day. Thin streams of water drop from the top edge of each D and land in the pool below.
Precision Alignment for Interlocking Frames
The key challenge in this metal fountain sculpture is keeping the two stainless steel frames perfectly aligned as they cross through each other. Mily first builds each frame to the required curve and checks the dimensions before joining the sections. Craftsmen then use positioning fixtures to hold the structure at the correct angle during welding.
The crossing area needs particular attention. Welds must stay strong without leaving visible seams on the finished surface. After welding, our craftsmen carefully grind the joints and refine the surrounding stainless steel to restore a continuous surface. This step is especially important for the mirror finish, as uneven grinding can show clearly under light and reflections.
LED Lighting for Night Display
LED lighting can sit beneath the water outlets or inside the lower structure. At night, the light catches the flowing water and mirror-polished steel at the same time. This gives the metal fountain sculpture a softer appearance after sunset.

Dual-Tone Finish for a Distinctive Look
Some clients choose a dual-tone finish instead of an all-mirror surface, with brushed satin steel on one D-shaped frame and mirror polish on the other. This combination keeps the same structure and water flow while creating a clear contrast between soft matte texture and bright reflections.
