Water That Falls Like a Curtain
Water leaves the upper inner edge in a thin sheet and breaks into fine strands as it drops through the ring. The strands catch the light and look like glass threads. At the lower lip, the water gathers again and pours into the pool in one soft flow.
We tune the weir at the top for every metal water feature sculpture. A smooth edge gives a quiet sheet. A slightly serrated edge gives more strands. Either way, this metal curved water fountain keeps its sound gentle and calm.
Shaped and Polished Stainless Steel
The team cuts a long, wide band from 3 mm stainless steel sheet and rolls it into the spiral. After each pass, they hold it against a full-size template. Then they weld the sheets end to end and keep every seam on the inside of the curve. Then they grind each seam flush until the band reads as one piece of steel.
On a curved mirror, a small wave bends the reflection into a crooked line. The polishers work from coarse to fine grit, then check the reflected lines under a long light tube. They stop only when the lines run smooth from base to top.
